First Samsung devices to get Android Marshmallow tipped, rolling out by early 2016
Samsung is still hard at work rolling out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update to its mobile devices still, but the plans for the next edition Android 6.0 Marshmallow are already seeping through as well. Google's Marshmallow version brings with it a bunch of improvements, predominantly under the hood of Android, like app permissions, memory usage tracking, power saving, auto backup, and more, so it's worth knowing if Samsung has signed up your model among the first to get it.
A tipster has claimed the initial batch of Samsung's Android gear that will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it includes some of the best and the brightest in the stable, alongside some humbler, but popular devices, check it out below. We can't vouch for the credibility of the source's insiders, but it looks like a pretty logical list, and those are said to receive Marshmallow by early 2016, or about a trimester after Google releases the source code to manufacturers.
