Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Note Edge Android M 6.0 Update Release Date

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 And Note Edge Android M 6.0 Update Release Date

Samsung has been awfully quite about their Galaxy Note 4 Android M 6.0 update release schedule. However, going by how Samsung has handled major updates in the past, we do have a general idea of when can we expect the update to hit major markets like US, UK and Canada.

With Android 5.1.1 Lollipop being released on the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S5, a lot of people are wondering when it will be pushed to their Galaxy Note 4. This also brings up the question about how Samsung will handle things when it comes to Android M 6.0 update as well.

There’s no doubt that Samsung will push out an Android M 6.0 update to the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge once the official source code has been released. The Galaxy Note 4 and its Edge counterpart aren’t very old at all that this easily puts it in line with devices that will receive the Android M 6.0 update. The question though, is when will these devices be updated? In what order when they be received? Let’s take a look at how Samsung has been handling updates for the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge so far.

Predicting Release Date For Android 6.0 M Update For Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Based On Lollipop Release Pattern

If we remember back to the first Android 5.0 Lollipop update that was released by Samsung, we saw it go out to the Galaxy S5, then to the Galaxy S4 and then the Galaxy Note 3 before it makes its way to the Note 4 and the Note Edge. The Note 4 and Note Edge were expected to be updated first so we had thought there was a bug with the update and that this would be a one-time deal. However, it seems like we’re seeing the same thing with the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update as well. The Galaxy S6/S6 Edge was first expected to be updated, which it was, but then the Galaxy S5 received the update before the Note 4 and Note Edge.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Android 6.0 M updateBecause of these delays, I’m starting to think that the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge will get pushed into 3rd or 4th in Samsung’s priority list. We might see the Android M 6.0 update go out to the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, then the Galaxy Note 5 and then we could see the Android M 6.0 update for Samsung Galaxy Note 4/Note Edge and the Galaxy S5 fall into a 3rd or 4th place here.
